Practice Profile
At its foundation, the Practice focused on the restoration of existing buildings in liaison with Housing Associations and Local Authorities, in particular Chester City Council. It has been responsible for the restoration and refurbishment of buildings in the city centre, converting redundant and Listed Buildings into flats/apartments for Private and Social Housing and now handles multi million pound projects.
Whilst the practice remains known for its involvement in the restoration of Listed Buildings, it has diversified and is responsible for numerous Schools, New Build Private and Public Housing Developments, Lottery Applications, Barn Conversions, Industrial Units, Medical Centres, Recreational Facilities and Fitness Centres.
Practice Policy has always been to work in close liaison with clients in order to achieve the best design solution for each individual employer and comply with the requirements of Local Authority Planning Legislation and Building Regulations.
