Practice Profile
At its foundation the Practice focused on the restoration of existing buildings in liaison with Housing Associations and Local Authorities, in particular Chester City Council. We have been responsible for the restoration and refurbishment of buildings in the city centre, converting redundant and Listed Buildings into flats/apartments for Private and Social Housing and now we handle multi million pound projects.
Whilst the Practice focused on the restoration of existing buildings, it has diversified and is responsible for numerous of Schools, New Build Private and Public developments, Lottery Applications, Barn Conversions, Commercial and Recreational facilities.
The Practice policy has always been to work in close liaison with clients in order to achieve the best design solution for each employer and comply with the requirements of the Local Authority Planning and Building Regulation Regulations.
The range of work under taken by the practice varies enormously covering all aspects of Architecture, from house survey ,feasibility studies ,offering the full range of Architecture services from Planning Applications, Building Regulation Applications, Tender Package through to Contract Administration.-Work Stage A –L .
The Practice also acts as CDM Co-ordinator under the Construction (Design Management ) Regulations 2007.
As Chartered Architects we adhere to and implement the RIBA Code of Practice Quality Assurance and Environment Policy.
