Construction of an Annex
A house in Goostrey has received planning permission for extension to the existing dwelling to create a spacious annex.
The design is traditional and uses an oak porch to reflect the character of the surrounding countryside and neighbouring properties. Large feature windows and timber framed elements are included within the design that the Jay Ashall team have produced. The windows allow maximum light to enter the property and create a flow between the indoor and outdoor space. Careful consideration has been taken by the design team to ensure the positioning of the annex is the best arrangement for the site. Access to the site and gardens will be maintained to ensure the overall development has a minimal impact on the immediate site and surrounding open countryside.
This site is under the Jodrell Bank Telescope Consultation Zone but has been approved as the proposed annex has been designed by Jay Ashall Partnership to have minimal impact on the efficiency of the Jodrell Bank Telescope.
