Conservation Barn Conversion

Jay Ashall Partnership Chartered Architects have obtained planning and listed building consent for the extension and conversion of a dry stone redundant cart shed at Pyegreave Farm for residential use in an area of special county value for landscape in Langley. Previous planning applications for its conversion and extension had been refused prior to our involvement but our sensitively designed proposals to this heritage asset within the curtilage of a grade II listed building were deemed by Cheshire East Council to have benefits to the historic environment and rural landscape which would outweigh the harm to the green belt in which the site is located.
