Refurbishment of Grade II listed building

We have obtained planning and listed building consent for the restoration, refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed building in the green belt in Over Alderley to create a 2150sq ft home.
The application involved ourselves compiling and submitting a statement of very special circumstances for the scheme which extended the building by approximately 130% over the original building and completing a financial viability assessment to justify the minimum enabling works required to demonstrate that the scheme would be the financially viable and ensure the retention of the Listed Building.
The architectural design included the provision of contemporary above ground and subterranean extension to reduce its impact on the openness of the green belt. The approval will safeguard the long term future of this heritage asset in Cheshire East.
