St Mary’s Church Hall is a traditional brick church hall located in the Weaverham Conservation Area. The brief provided by the Church was to restore and refurbish the existing hall and construct three new extensions to create a new entrance and two multi purpose rooms for use by the community.
The design provided a new, naturally lit, welcoming entrance foyer with disabled access. The larger community room provided opened up onto the gardens. A separate smaller community room was created and a link which connected the new with the old parts of the building.
Phase 1 is now complete and the main hall is now a multipurpose flexible space with moveable walls allowing the area to be used for several events at one time.
