Eaton Bank was a newly converted academy and approached Jay Ashall Partnership Architects to prepare a long term master plan for developing the facilities at the school. In close liaison with the client, Jay Ashall Partnership obtained funding for the first phase of a 5 phase master plan.
Phase 1 - To convert and refurbish a community building to create a new sixth form centre providing dedicated sixth form classrooms, IT facilities, common room, Costa coffee cafe and study facilities.
Phase 2 – Create a new SEN and student services base in the heart of the school.
Phase 3 – Provide two new multipurpose science laboratories and prep labs.
Phase 4 – Create a new entrance reception and conference facility.
Phase 5 – Refenestration and refurbishment of a 30 classroom teaching block to provide a thermally efficient and modern teaching environment.
