St Luke's Cheshire Hospice

A local charity with whom we had previously worked alongside had an existing property that needed complete refurbishment.  We were appointed to create a scheme for the refurbishment and extension of the building to create an updated and extended charity shop. The works involved significant underpinning and the completion of a new raft foundation to the front single storey extension following ground investigation works along with re-building of an existing rear extension. The overall project provided a reconfiguration of the shop floor space, provided a larger sorting and washing room and provided new office and staff facilities. The design rationalised the space internally to allow for a larger shop floor and more useable storage and office space enabling a better flow and shop layout.
